LEAP - Learning Enrichment Achievement Programme

Mission: To provide equal opportunity to learn based on the children’s strengths
Equal opportunity is not giving everyone the same thing but giving the children what they need, to be able to learn. In the “Year of Rightful Choices” the school management chose to make a difference to children who learn differently. A brand new program which is aptly called the LEAP- Learning Enrichment Achievement Programme was launched on 9th of January 2016.
Salient features of LEAP include:
- Provides a pressure-free and conducive environment for learning
- Children benefit in an integrated set up (attending extra-curricular activities with their peers)
- Curriculum adaptations
- Hands on learning using multi-sensory techniques and strength based learning
- One special educator for 6 children
- One special educator for 6 children
- Required accommodations are provided
- Cumulative Evaluation
- Individual attention
- Addressing the behavioral, socio-emotional and physical needs of each child
- Improving social interaction between their peers using a life skills approach
- Facilitating a support group for parents

This programme is currently offered for Grades 5-8 at the Bethany High Koramangala Branch at no extra cost.
